Attention: Military & Overseas Voters
On August 12, 2008, Governor Jon Corzine signed legislation expanding the methods of transmitting ballots used by Military and Overseas Voters.
New Jersey law formerly allowed for votes to be transmitted only by fax.
The law has been revised to include any other form of electronic communication, including email.
Information and forms regarding overseas voter registration and absentee ballots are available from the Federal Voting Assistance Program at http://fvap.gov/.
The Atlantic County registered voters may print a Military or Overseas absentee ballot application, fill it out and it mail to The Atlantic County Clerk's Office, 5901 Main Street, Mays Landing NJ 08330.
Applications as well as any questions may also be emailed to: evote_request@aclink.org American citizens who are not registered to vote may also apply at those addresses.
When you apply for an absentee ballot you may indicate whether you wish to have the ballot mailed to you, emailed to you, or faxed to you. You will then receive instructions on how to complete and return your voted ballot.
