Early voting allows registered Atlantic County voters to cast their ballots in person on a voting machine before Election Day. You can vote at any of the seven early voting centers throughout Atlantic County, regardless of where you live in the county.

Important Information for Vote by Mail Voters
If you are an active Vote by Mail voter and wish to vote early in person on a voting machine, you must opt out of Vote by Mail at least 60 days before the election.

What are the early voting dates and hours?
Early voting for the 2026 General Election runs from October 24 through November 1, 2026.
Monday through Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

How do I check my voter registration?
Use the NJ Voter Search tool or contact the Atlantic County Superintendent of Elections.
When searching online, enter your name exactly as it appears on your voter registration. Hyphens, spaces, name changes, middle initials, and nicknames may affect search results.
Can I vote early if I normally Vote by Mail?
The existing county guidance states that active Vote by Mail voters must opt out at least 60 days before the election to vote on an in-person voting machine.
